DAIWA TANACOM 1000 ELECTRIC REEL
As with all Daiwa electric reels, the programmable Auto-Stop ensures that the winding stops at its designated length upon retrieval. The reel's automated jigging function can also be programmed to work a lure or bait according to your preferences. Built with advanced technology found in more expensive models, the Tanacom 1000 is both durable and reliable, featuring corrosion-resistant components and a washable design with sealed electronics for smooth, long-lasting performance in harsh marine environments.
Using the reel is a breeze. Simply connect the battery and lower your lure to the water's surface. Press the reset button to zero the display, and you're ready to start fishing, with the reel automatically measuring line let out. To rewind, advance the Power Lever, and the reel will stop automatically when your lure reaches the surface.
The Tanacom 1000 (U) Power Assist Electric Reel comes with a range of features, including a new LCD display that reads out in English for easier programming, an oversize line guide aperture to clear large knots and kite swivels, automatic stop and jigging features, variable-speed Power Lever control, line counter and depth memory, sealed electronics package, manual winding option, washable design, and a 12 Volt system (12-16.8 V) with sealed drag system.
The reel has a gear ratio of 2.3:1, 4BB bearings, a line per handle turn of 16.5", a weight of 53.0oz, and a line capacity (braid lb/m) of 80/750 or 100/560. It also has a maximum drag of 48.
