Refund Policy
If the goods are faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to Provide a remedy.
We do not need to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase, so please choose carefully.
Privacy Policy
Gun City + Fishing Napier customer privacy policy sets out how we collect, use, protect and share your personal information. It incorporates the requirements set out in the Privacy Act 1993. The Privacy Act is supervised by the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner.
The privacy of your personal information is important to us, so we will not provide your information to any third parties except:
- To comply with any legislative obligations.
- Where third parties provide you with services on our behalf or assist with delivery of our products and services.
- To anyone authorized by you to receive it
Warranty
All products purchased from Gun City + Fishing Napier are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Please check the warranty reference from manufacturers.
Gun City + Fishing Napier will provide warranty service only in respect to products that were supplied by Gun City + Fishing Napier.
No warranty is expressed or implied as to the quality or fitness of the products for any particular purpose or otherwise.
Gun City + Fishing Napier will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury to the purchaser or to any other person or to the property of the purchaser or any other person arising out of the use or possession of the Products.
Pricing and Stock
All prices listed are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax unless otherwise stated. Our pricing structure is different to our in store pricing structure. Prices are primarily listed in New Zealand dollars. Prices may change without notice. Gun City + Fishing Napier endeavours to carry sufficient stock at all times, although stock and pricing is subject to availability - if we do not have an item you have ordered in stock - we will advise you of this and you can choose from:
- An alternative product.
- We will advise a delivery date, if acceptable we will process your order when the item is available.
- Not process your order, and refund any amount paid.
Confirming Prices
Items in your Shopping Cart will reflect the most recent price displayed on the item's product detail page. Placing an item in your cart does not reserve the price shown at that time. It is also possible that an item's price may decrease between the time you place it in your cart and the time you purchase it. Many discounts are limited time offers. The discount we offer for any item is dependent upon its availability.
We cannot confirm the price of an item until you order. Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items on any of our sites may be mispriced. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
Product Returns
Gun City + Fishing Napier will endeavour to ensure goods and services meet all the guarantees under the Consumer Guarantees Act. As such, we will always endeavour to ensure products are:
- Of an acceptable quality;
- Fit for their particular purpose, and
- Match the description or demonstration model.
No product will be accepted for return without obtaining prior written authorization from Gun City + Fishing Napier. Freight, handling and insurance charges will be at the cost of the Purchaser.
Gun City + Fishing Napier may, but is not obliged to, accept the return of any product that was ordered and correctly supplied.
If product was delivered incorrectly or with defects or damage from courier/transport, the purchaser must inform Gun City + Fishing Napier in writing within three days of receipt of the product. The notification must quote the relevant invoice number and must include all the necessary details of the incorrect delivery, defect or damage. If purchaser fails to notify Gun City + Fishing Napier, the purchaser shall be deemed to have received the product in good order and condition and that the same had been delivered in accordance with the purchaser's order. Gun City + Fishing Napier will meet its obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act for products that are found defective or damaged outside of the 3 days.
Without express permission from Gun City + Fishing Napier any product that has been authorized for return must be returned in a pristine state. If a product is not returned in the expected state, Gun City + Fishing Napier will meet its obligations under the Consumer Guarantees act.
Shipping Policy
Free Shipping on orders over $299 (excludes Chilly bins & Outrigger poles)
Orders are shipped Monday to Friday, Weekend and Public Holiday orders will be processed on the next business day (no overnight deliveries for Sat-Sun orders). Our couriers don’t have an overnight service for rural addresses.
